Get a free credit report from the 3 national credit reporting agencies! Go to www.annualcreditreport.com and you can get free credit reports from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion, either online, by phone, or by fax. This is really helpful to see what your credit looks like and to see if there's any identify theft happening (i.e. someone opening another account with your info that you have no idea about, etc.). This site gives you a free credit report every year, and there's no hidden fees or no having to cancel a subscription later. I've used this, and it's been really helpful, and free!
