Welk Resorts: Free Trip & Tickets

Welk Resorts in San Diego offers a free trip for two and free tickets to sporting events and Knott's Berry Farm in exchange for watching a timeshare presentation.  Basically, you have to make an appointment to go to San Diego to visit their resort and take part in a 90 minute tour and presentation where they try to sell you a timeshare.  After the presentation, they give you a free trip to San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas, or Catalina Islands.  I think they also give away trips to Hawaii if you go to the presentation on certain days.  Of course there's travel restrictions such as you have to schedule the trips 60 days in advance and there are blackout dates, but if your schedule is pretty flexible, its a great deal.  Our schedule isn't flexible so we opted for the Catalina Island trip because it's short and close.  You can either call the Welk Resorts at 1-877-607-5341 to sign up or you can call the guy that referred us, Yuri at (714) 702-9186.  Really, this timeshare presentation will pay for a few date nights and a nice romantic getaway so its definitely worth it!
