December is our anniversary month, so we get different coupons from different restaurants to celebrate our anniversary. Tonight we had a coupon from Kabuki Japanese Restaurant for a free dessert. We had a great time at a nice restaurant, and then came home to catch up on episodes of The Office. We have a tradition where we get the DVD from the previous season of The Office, and watch a few episodes every date night. For budget-minded people, it's a cost that lasts many weeks, we get to snuggle on the couch, and it's become "our thing". So don't forget to sign up for restaurant email lists for both your birthday and your anniversary to get food coupons. Usually anniversary coupons are only for a free dessert, but anything free is great for a couple on a budget. Another restaurant that gives an anniversary coupon is Macaroni Grill. Also, find "your thing" to do as a couple that doesn't cost a lot but means a lot to you.
